His grandfather’s stood tall in the face of fear even with the very real possibility that it could cost them their lives. However, when he’s called upon to be brave and stand behind his statements, he cowers in fear and apologizes out of fear of what it could cost him both personally and financially. Drew Brees for example positions his stance on kneeling behind the bravery of his relatives in WW2. People no longer have the courage to say something and stand by it. People are so conditioned to capitulating the moment someone is “offended” that it breeds cowardice. There are tons of ways to get involved, and if you put for the effort to be involved, you will have a community that will love and support you through every hardship. The small groups (for me Brave 20s) are vital to growth and community. I.t is a BIBLE church, they preach what the Word of God says and they won't sugar coat it when it's hard to hear. To be completely honest, it is not a church for those looking for a feel good, surface message, but rather the deep, convicting and raw truth of God's commands and desires for His most beloved creation. It is not a church for those looking to be lukewarm, but rather one for those who want to be on fire for God. If you are looking for a church that will encourage your growth in your faith, challenge you, convict you, support you, and walk along side you - this is the place.
